Unlinking removes the funding connection. It does not withdraw your cash, sell holdings, cancel your membership, or close your investing account.
Before you start
Review your transfer history and resolve pending-transfer issues before disconnecting a bank you still need.
01Open the web banking settings
Sign in to the web app and open Settings, then Banking. Confirm that the displayed account is the bank you intend to remove.
02Read the unlink confirmation
Select Unlink bank account. The confirmation explains that deposits and withdrawals will pause until a bank is linked again. Choose Keep linked if you do not want to proceed.
03Confirm and check the result
Confirm Unlink bank and wait for the action to complete. Return to Banking and check that the previous connection is no longer listed as linked. You will need an approved bank connection before making another deposit or withdrawal. If an error appears, do not assume the bank was disconnected.
